FAQ — Customs, Duties & Fees
Q: Will I have to pay customs or duties?
A: Possibly. Orders shipped internationally may be subject to import duties, taxes, or brokerage fees assessed by your country’s customs authorities.
Q: How much will duties cost?
A: The amount varies depending on your order value, product type, and local tariff rules.
Your shipping carrier (e.g., UPS, FedEx, USPS, etc.) will contact you directly with the exact amount due once your package arrives in your country.
Q: Who pays these fees?
A: The customer is responsible for paying any duties, taxes, or customs fees required to release and deliver the package.
Q: What if I refuse to pay the fees?
A: If customs fees are refused and the package is returned to us, we can issue store credit for the item(s) minus any shipping and return costs.
Please note that duties and return shipping fees are non-refundable.
Q: Why aren’t duties included at checkout?
A: Trulyworn ships using a DAP (Delivered at Place) model.
This means duties and taxes are not collected at checkout, helping keep upfront prices lower. Any applicable fees are charged separately by your country’s customs agency upon delivery.
